Bohunice

The library belongs to the main branches of the KJM and is located in the pleasant environment of a restored school (together with a branch of the Lužánky leisure centre). Due to its high quality collection, it is also widely used by visitors from other automated branches of the KJM. The branch cooperates with local kindergartens and primary schools, for which it implements educational programmes. It actively participates in projects to promote children's reading, organises regular afternoon readings for the youngest readers and a number of events for the public. It organises exhibitions and educational programmes for the citizens of Brno-Bohunice and invents new forms of activities in which it tries to involve the citizens of Bohunice as much as possible.

 On the occasion of the 20^th anniversary of the merger of the Leisure Centre with the KJM branch in 2015, the library premises were equipped with brand new furniture. The branch also lends umbrellas and glasses and has a book box.
