This library is one of the main branches of the KJM and is located right next to the Vondrákova bus stop. Its universal collection of fiction and educational literature is complemented by extensive departments of science fiction and fantasy, young adult, audiobooks, periodicals and a range of educational toys and teaching aids. The newly renovated space offers four computers with internet access, wi-fi connection, an online catalogue, an interactive table with games and educational programmes, a separate reading and study room, a cloakroom with lockers, Family Point and a separate 50-seat room equipped with a data projector and interactive whiteboard. There are also several relaxation areas in the main library hall with a pleasant backstage area.
The cultural activities of the branch are financially supported by the district town hall of Brno-Bystrc.
