Černovice

This library is one of the smaller branches of the KJM and provides basic lending and information services to readers of all ages. It offers a quality book collection, audiobooks, toys and didactic aids from the Lekotéka project, board games, umbrellas and glasses. It provides readers with access to articles in electronic form through an online catalogue and allows them to borrow and download e-books. The branch has long been cooperating with local kindergartens and primary schools, for which it implements educational programmes. It organises cultural and educational events or exhibitions for the general public and participates in projects to promote children's reading (creative workshops, reading and competitions). There is also a children's play area for the youngest visitors. In 2012, the library moved to the suitably renovated premises of the former housing department of the Černovice town hall. In 2023 it was nominated for the prestigious award of the Community Library of the South Moravian Region 2023.

The branch uses an exchange fund that also offers new titles. The purchase of the exchange fund is financed from the subsidy of the South Moravian Region for the performance of regional functions of libraries in the South Moravian Region.
