The library is one of the smaller but modern and accessible branches of the KJM with a wide range of services for users of all ages. In addition to borrowing traditional types of documents (books and magazines), visitors can also choose from a variety of board games, audiobooks and themed cases. Even forgotten glasses or inclement weather need not worry readers, as free glasses and umbrellas are available to borrow. Parents with children will find a changing table on the ground floor and a children's corner with books suitable for the little ones (popular picture books, audio and tactile books, etc.).
The branch was established with a financial contribution from the founder of the library, the City of Brno, in 2018. The reconstruction of the building was carried out by the Brno-Sever city district with the support of the City of Brno. The branch uses the exchange fund, which also offers new titles. The purchases of the exchange fund are financed from the subsidy of the South Moravian Region for the performance of regional functions of libraries of the South Moravian Region.
