The detached workplace of the Central Library of the KJM is located on the second floor of Klein's Palace on Náměstí Svobody 15. It focuses on disadvantaged groups, especially the elderly, disabled, parents on parental leave, unemployed, etc. The workplace was launched in 2006 thanks to the project Citizens’ Public Access to Broadband Internet through the Public Library in the City of Brno, which was implemented by the City of Brno from the financial resources of the Joint Regional Operational Programme of the Structural Funds of the European Union, the budget of the City of Brno and the state.
