This branch is one of KJM's largest, with an ample collection for children and adult readers, 500 spoken word CDs, and 25 periodicals subscribed to. It offers a Family Point as well as a children's corner. It organises events for the public (including travel talks and educational events on various topics), and holds regular monthly exhibitions. It works with disabled children and adults, has a Reading Club for the elderly and regularly participates in the Královo Pole Coat of Arms Festival.
It provides lending and information services, public internet and copying from the KJM collection. For kindergartens and primary schools it implements educational programmes. It is involved in the Lekotéka project, has a large number of toys and didactic aids, Albi books and music therapy instruments. It is regularly involved in the Bookstart projects - With a Book to Life, First Time to School - First Time to the Library, Book for a First-grader and Lanyard Full of Letters.
The activities of the branch are annually supported by the Brno-Královo Pole district town hall.
