Lesná

This library is one of the medium-sized branches of KJM. It has been in its current premises since 1998, and underwent extensive restoration in 2010. The branch cooperates with local kindergartens and primary schools (it implements educational programmes), actively participates in projects to promote children's reading and has a play area with a slide in the children's section. It organises cultural and educational events for the public, it also participates in outdoor events in cooperation with KS Omega (Town Hall Day, Cultural and Sports Afternoons, etc.) and projects on sustainability (Seed Room, Swaps, etc.). In the summer months, it is possible to use the seating area on the terrace in front of the library, which includes a community garden with plants or a literary bench. The branch is involved in the Lekotéka project (toys and didactic aids), lends audiobooks, has 2 PCs with internet for the public, including access to databases and free wi-fi. There is also a book return box.

The activities of the branch are annually supported by the Brno-Sever district town hall.
