Maloměřice

The library is amongst one of the smaller branches of the KJM and provides basic lending and information services to readers of all ages. Since 2008 it has been housed in a renovated former kindergarten building. It implements educational programmes for kindergartens and primary schools and participates in various national projects (Bookstart - With a Book to Life, Book for a First-grader, the South Moravia Teads competition, etc.). It organises travel talks, author readings, theatre performances and community events and competitions for the public. It also offers toys and aids from the Lekotéka project, audiobooks and umbrellas. Readers can also use the return box located outside the library to return books.

The biggest advantage of this branch is the library garden, which is used all year round. It is used for relaxation and programmes for children and adults. It is also open to the general public thanks to a literary bench and children's themed trails.
