The library is among one of the medium-sized branches of the KJM and is located in newly renovated premises, in the building of the Brno-Nový Lískovec district town hall. Readers can choose from more than 16 thousand book titles and 12 types of magazines. In addition to books, toys, board games and didactic aids from the Lekotéka project, audiobooks, umbrellas and glasses can also be borrowed from the branch. Parents with small children can use the playroom and the baby changing corner. The library cooperates with local kindergartens and primary schools. It actively participates in projects to promote children's reading, organising regular afternoon reading sessions for the little ones and art workshops. For the public, it offers travel talks, exhibitions and discussions with writers. For visitors there is wi-fi access, internet access, a study area and the opportunity to make A4 copies from the library's collection.
The activities of the branch are supported by the Brno-Nový Lískovec district town hall.
