This library is one of the medium-sized branches of the KJM, it is situated on two floors and offers an extensive children's section with a reading corner for the youngest readers. The modern, cosy premises are adapted to the needs of talks and accompanying programmes in order to create a community space. The common room, equipped with audiovisual technology, serves this purpose. There is also a Family Point with a changing table, and a book return box. Thanks to the generous support of the City of Brno, the branch has a wide range of contemporary book titles, in addition to magazines, CDs with spoken word and toys and didactic aids from the Lekotéka project. A large selection of board games and regular board games is a local speciality, where visitors can try out the games and borrow them to take home. The branch also runs educational programmes for schools, organises cultural and educational events for the public and, through its online catalogue, makes articles available to readers in electronic form and enables them to download and borrow e-books.
