The library is among one of the smaller branches of the KJM and is located in the centre of the city district, in the building of the Brno-Tuřany municipality. After reconstruction and interior modifications, it was moved to the courtyard wing, to a larger, more suitable and accessible premises. A small play area was installed for the youngest readers. The branch cooperates with local kindergartens and primary schools, to whom it offers educational programmes. In addition to the book collection, it also offers audiobooks, board games, umbrellas and glasses. Through an online catalogue, it makes articles available to readers in electronic form and allows them to download and borrow e-books. Since 2016, it has been involved in the Lekotéka project with toys and didactic aids. A book return box is located at the branch.
Thanks to the financial contributions of the Brno-Tuřany district town hall, the permanent collection of the branch is supplemented with new titles every year.
